Fellowship in Otology

The Fellowship in Otology is a 1-year residential Certificate course for Post Graduate ENT Doctors. We have been conducting this course since 2015 with the recognition of the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. The annual intake for this course is just two seats.

During the course, special emphasis is placed on the EAR. Students have to perform various surgeries independently. By this, the confidence of the student improves.

Students also get an opportunity to learn how Cochlear Implant surgeries are performed. This routine but intricate procedure is one that surgeons take time to master.

Along with their classroom learning, students experience the OPD, IPD and surgical environments. The daily training schedule is usually between 5:30 am and 8 pm and is mentored by the senior surgeon, Dr Shabbir Indorewala.

As an additional resource for students, the library at Indorewala ENT Hospital is open 24 hours for students to access. The wide range of books and resources available to the students allows for exceptional additional learning.
